Thomas Dressel, 74, of Clinton, NY and former resident of Naples, FL, died peacefully on August 3, 2012. Tom was a devoted Husband of 55 years to Susan Wiltsie Dressel and a loving Father to his 4 children: Jennifer Leslie (Michael) Naples, FL; Peter Dressel (Jennifer) Ft.Mill, SC; Gretchen Matkin (Ryan) Madison, CT.; Gregory Dressel (Jennifer) Cameron, SC. Tom's 10 precious grandchildren will miss him the most, Patrick, Meaghan, Maitland, Sarah, Zachary, Kyra, Caroline, Malachi, Rebekah & Thomas. Tom will be truly missed by sister-in-laws Christine Wiltsie & Diane (Bob) Smith and brother-in-laws Peter (Suzanne) Wiltsie & Mark (Kathy) Wiltsie. Tom was a brother to Daniel Dressel and Sharon D. Young. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Dressel and Margaret Dressel and grandson Connor Leslie. Born in Utica, NY, Tom attended Clinton Central Schools, Alfred State Tech and S.U.N.Y. IT. Tom worked as a Mechanical Engineer for Special Metals for 22 years. He and Susan owned the Naples Lamp Shop in Naples, FL for 18 years before retiring in Clinton. Family and friends are invited to Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, 35 College Street Clinton from 4 to 7 pm (today) Sunday, August 5. Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, August 6th at 10 am at St Mary's Church, Marvin Street, Clinton. Memorial donations can be made to Kirkland Town Library.
