Obituary of Carol Nelson

Carol Nelson Clinton, NY Carol Nelson, 90, of Clinton, NY and formerly of New Jersey, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012 at the Martin Luther Nursing Home. She was born in Fitchburg, MA, on October 31, 1921, a daughter of Pasquale and Antonetta Mastrogulio Pandiscio. She was united in marriage to James L. Nelson for 48 years. Carol was a beautician in Ridgewood, NJ for many years, living in Franklin Lakes, and later retiring to Toms River. She always loved getting involved in everything from a volunteer ambulance driver to directing shows in her retirement community. She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Laura Jenkins of Utica and Mark and Sabrina Nelson of W. Milford, NJ; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Adel Shrout of Colorado. She was predeceased by her husband, her sister, Hilda Mielarczyk, and sister, Marie Saule. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 9:30AM at St. Francis Church, 1 Eonoke Rd., Denville, NJ. Burial will be held on Monday, April 23, 2012 at 11:30AM in General William Doyle Military Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. Arrangements by Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc, Clinton, NY.
