Obituary of Jeffrey S. Siedsma

Jeffrey Steven Siedsma, 50, of California Hill Rd, died Monday, March 26, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. He was born December 16, 1961, the son of Jerry and Doris Siedsma. Jeff graduated from Clinton Central School and served in the US Navy as an underwater mines-man. Afterwards he began his career in construction work. Jeff enjoyed fishing and loved his music. He is survived by his two sons, Steve Siedsma of Tonopah, AZ and Nick Siedsma and his fiance Alyssa Blowers of Oneida; the mother of his children, Katy Goodson of Alder Creek; his parents Jerry and Doris Siedsma; his two sisters, Patricia and Dwight Dibble of Clinton and their children, Jessica Dibble and Ed DeCarlo and Alyssa Dibble, Christine Siedsma and Rich Peters of Frankfort; his brother, Randy Siedsma of Franklin Springs; nieces and a nephew, Teresa Siedsma and her children, Skylei and Gavin of Sherburne, Kimberly Siedsma and Matt Squires of Utica, Sarah and Patrick Clemens of Rome and RJ Siedsma of Franklin Springs; his special aunt Dolores Adams and many other aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Rick. Funeral services will be held at 3pm on Friday, March 30, 2012 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc, 35 College St., Clinton. All are invited to call Friday from 1-3pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
