Catherine Denslow, 85, of W. South Street, passed away at home with her family by her side on Wednesday, February 22, 2012. She was born January 20, 1927 in Bayonne, NJ to the late Charles and Mary Canfield Ward. Catherine attended Westmoreland Central School. On March 5, 1946 she married the late Thomas W. Denslow Sr., a blessed union of 60 years, until his death February 10, 2005. Catherine was a member of Church of the Annunciation, Clark Mills. She loved spending time with her family and friends, going shopping and to parties. She was the type of person who enjoyed life to the fullest and tried to make people happy. She is survived by her daughter, son and their spouses, Diane and John Hartnett of Westmoreland and Thomas W. and Barbara Denslow Jr. of Fort Myers, FL; four grandchildren, Melissa Hartnett, Shannon Schram, Thomas Denslow III and Jayne Denslow; four great-grandchildren, Breanna Hartnett, Riley, Cammoron and Bailey Schram. She was predeceased by her husband, her sisters, Florence, Betty and Grace and her brothers, Charles and Thomas. Funeral services will be held at 8:30am on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Church of the Annunciation, Clark Mills. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Westmoreland. All are invited to call Friday (today) from 5-8pm at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc, 35 College St., Clinton. Please consider donations to the Salvation Army.
