Obituary of Robert "Butch" Clark

Robert Earl "Butch" Clark, 87, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2012 at the Martin Luther Nursing Home.
He was born in Utica on June 25, 1924, a son of the late Clifford H. and Ona Mae Sloper Clark. For many years Butch worked at American Emblem and New Hartford Central Schools. On October 16, 1971, he was married to Eunice Cota until her death in 1988. Butch was a member and past treasurer of the Auxiliary Police for the Town of Kirkland. He entered the Martin Luther Nursing Home in 2007 and enjoyed their activities; bus trips to go fishing, Olympics and the band concerts.
He is survived by his two sisters, Betty Clark of Clinton and June Clark of Rome; two sisters-in-law Victoria Clark of Chittenango and Mary Clark of New Hartford; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and was the last of the four brothers, predeceased by his brothers, Clifford Jr, Grant and Donald Clark.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Monday, January 30, 2012 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton. Burial will be in Kirkland Cemetery. All are invited to call Monday from 10am to 11am prior to the funeral service.
