Obituary of Abraham "Abie' Adour
Abraham (Abie) Adour, 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 28, 2018. He was born in Clark Mills to Abdul and Zina Adour. He spent the majority of his life in his beloved hometown of Clinton, NY where he starred in football and track; and was also a Golden Gloves winning boxer. Abie dedicated himself to community service as well and served all the local hockey teams for over 50 years as an Off-Ice Official and is well known by many locals as Coach Abe when he coached Pop Warner football.
He is survived by his daughter Laurie, son Mark, grandchildren Michael, Stephanie, and Derek, and great-grandchild Rocco; by his brother Kedar Adour, and sister Betty Williams. He is pre-deceased by his beloved wife, Leila, son-in-law Chris, and brothers Ausman, Hammond, Saied, and sisters Ann, Helen and Marion.
Family and friends are invited to calling hours at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service at 35 College Street, Clinton, NY on Friday, November 2nd from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm to reminisce, grieve, share stories or just chat.
