Obituary of George Gribanoff

George Gribanoff, 94, passed away May 31, 2018. 

He was born in Russia on December 25, 1923, son of the late Alfanasi and Barbara (Basova) Gribanoff.  George and his wife Mary were very proud to become American citizens in 1984.  He worked as a mechanic and inspector at Datsun Auto Plaza for many years.  George was an Elder in the Paris Hill Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; daughter and son-in-law, Olga and Don Rawls; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Denise Gribanoff; grandchildren, Lance Winters, Ivan Rawls, Sara Gribanoff, Sean and Amanda Fohs; and great grandchildren, Olivia and Ava Fohs; as well as many loving cousins and a large extended family.

Funeral services will be held at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Paris Hill, 2610 State Rt. 12, Waterville at 2pm on Saturday June 9, 2018.
