Obituary of Angeline Trivieri
Angeline “Linda” Trivieri, 93, passed away with her family by her side on April, 15, 2018 at The Grand in Rome.
She was born in Utica on October 21, 1924, a daughter of the late Angelo and Palma (Talarico) Astalfa. She grew up in Utica and attended Thomas R. Proctor High School. On May 21, 1949, she was united in marriage to Orlando “Lefty” Trivieri, who affectionately called her “Angie”. The couple raised their family in East Utica and moved to Westmoreland in 2001. They shared 54 years of marriage until Lefty’s passing on December 16, 2003. Linda was a devoted and loving wife, mother and Nana. She had hard-working and talented hands that crafted everything with love. She was always busy cooking and baking and often sewed clothes for her family. She retired in 1986 from Mills Factory in Utica. Linda and Lefty could be found dancing the Jitterbug in the living room or sharing fun times together. In her later years, Linda was a member of the Westlanders and enjoyed their companionship, friendship and fun.
She is survived by her three children, Gail Trivieri of Westmoreland, Carmen and Dee Trivieri of Eugene, OR and Tammy and Jim Kimball of Westmoreland; three beloved grandchildren, Briana and Dylan Kimball of Westmoreland and Angelica Trivieri of Eugene, OR; two cherished great-grandsons, Kyle Williams and Andrew Severe; her sister Julia Spina of Utica; and many nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her husband; and her sisters and brothers, Teresa Cognetti, Mary Ruffo, Rose Barone, Joseph Astalfa, Albert Astalfa and Anthony Astalfa.
Services will be held at 10am Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Church of the Annunciation in Clark Mills with burial in Westmoreland Cemetery.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Nagi El-Khoury and his staff who have taken care of “Angie” for many, many years and a special thank you to the rehab staff at The Grand, Kim, Karen and Jennifer, as well as the nurses and aides that cared for her during her stay there and became like family.
