Obituary of Diane F. Pfeiffer

Diane F. Pfeiffer, 67, a lifelong resident of Westmoreland, passed away with her family by her side Monday, September 19, 2011 at Rome Memorial Hospital. She was born November 26, 1943 in Rome to the late Francis and Frederica Buck Tormey. On November 24, 1962 she was united in marriage to Willard F. Pfeiffer at Church of the Annunciation in Clark Mills. Mr. Pfeiffer died August 21, 1997. Diane enjoyed playing in card leagues and bingo. She took great pleasure in preparing Sunday dinners for her family. She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Sherri & Jeffrey Williams of Rome and Melanie & Frank Slawiak of Vernon; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Willard Pfeiffer III and Joanne Montrose of Litchfield and Jeremy and Tina Pfeiffer of Westmoreland; three grandchildren, her special grandson Justin Williams, Cali Slawiak and Brent Pfeiffer; step-grandchildren, Dylan and Tyler Montrose; her sister Helen Frank of Lowell; sisters-in-law, Barb Pfeiffer, Marie Craft and Ann & Len DeClue and many special nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, her parents and her brother-in-law, Edward Frank. Funeral services will be held at 1pm Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc, 35 College St, Clinton. Friends are invited to call Wednesday from 11am until 1pm. Burial will be in Westmoreland Cemetery. Friends are invited to attend a reception following the services at the Westmoreland Fire Dept.
