Obituary of Kay M Knutti

Kay M. Knutti, 76, a longtime resident of Deansboro, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at the Harding Nursing Home after a short battle with cancer. She was born January 15, 1935 in Deansboro to Rexford and Florence Loomis Johnson and educated in the local schools. She married Theodore Knutti in October 1954. He passed away April 16, 1995. Together they operated a dairy farm for many years. Kay also worked at Kmart and Great American for many years. Kay was a member of Deansboro Methodist Church. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and bingo trips to the casino. She is survived by her five sons, a daughter and their spouses, William and Barbara Knutti of SC, Robert and Jackie Knutti of VA, David and Sharon Knutti of Deansboro, Theodore and Bonnie Knutti Jr. of Deansboro, James Knutti of Deansboro and Debbie and Mark Taylor of Deansboro; fifteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents and her step-father Jack Westlake. Funeral services will be held 10am Friday, September 2, 2011 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc, 35 College St., Clinton. Burial will be in Deansboro Cemetery. Friends are invited to call Thursday from 5-8pm. The family thanks the staff of the Harding Nursing Home for their kindness and care given to Kay during her stay.
