Obituary of Lucille Jane Bathke

Lucille Jane Todd Bathke, 92, of Clinton and formerly of Rome and Poland, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at the Masonic Home. She was born on February 2, 1919, to the late Scudder B. and Hazel L. White Todd in Marcy. Lucille was educated at Forestport High School. She married Raymond F. "Pete" Bathke on May 30, 1942 at Forestport. Pete passed away in 1981. Lucille worked for the Newport Telephone Company for many years and was the owner and operator of the Fireplace Ceramics Workshop. She was also a seamstress, doll maker and an avid snowmobiler. After retirement, she enjoyed her winters in Florida and Myrtle Beach, SC. She is survived by her three children and their spouses, D. Jane and Rev. Tim DeBeaumont Sr., Victorville, CA, Peter R. and Valerie Bathke, Marcy, and Lisa J. and Ken Young, Clinton; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Christine Todd, and a brother-in-law, Leonard Wiatr; many relatives and friends. She was predeceased by a sister, Jeanette Wiatr in 2009. There will be no calling hours. Private services will be held by the family. Arrangements made by Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc, 35 College St., Clinton.
