Obituary of Walter Misiak

Walter Misiak, 91 of Westmoreland Road, died Friday, July 15, 2011 at the Martin Luther Nursing Home. He was born October 7, 1919 in Utica to Joseph and Magdalena Kurczaba Misiak. On August 19, 1950 he was united in marriage to Susie Acee, a devoted union of 53 years until her death on September 21, 2003. Walt retired from Revere Copper after many years of service. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren most of all. He is survived by his three children and their spouses, Walter and Cheri Misiak of Westmoreland, "Maddy" Magdalene and Ronald Schmidt of Baldwinsville and Sue Ann Misiak of Tukwila, WA; four grandchildren David Misiak and his wife Melissa, Michele Misiak and Ronald and Michael Schmidt; and three great-grandchildren, Tanner, Lauren and Brayden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30am Monday, July 18, 2011 at Church of the Annunciation, Clark Mills with burial in St. Stanislaus-St. Casimir Cemetery. In keeping with Walter's wishes, there will be no calling hours. Arrangements by Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc, Clinton.
