Obituary of Audrey M Collmer

Audrey M. Collmer, 77, of Tindall Manor, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Thursday, July 7, 2011. She was born in Clark Mills on October 7, 1933, the daughter of the late Charles and Frances Rouillier Toner. Audrey graduated from Clinton Central School in 1951. On September 11, 1954 she was united in marriage to Michael A. Collmer at Church of the Annunciation in Clark Mills. Before her children were born, Audrey worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield in Utica and was the secretary at Church of the Annunciation for many years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved to spend time with her family. She was a member of Church of the Annunciation and its Altar & Rosary Society. She was also an active member of the Clark Mills American Legion Post #26 Auxiliary and a past member of the Clark Mills Fire Dept Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Mike; two daughters, two sons and their spouses, Susan and Michael Fisher of Beaver Falls, PA, Sean and Patricia Collmer of Vernon, Sheila and Jim Nolan of Westmoreland and Scott Collmer of Clark Mills; seven grandchildren, Cara LaMark and her husband Michael, Christopher Fisher, Bryan and Jack Collmer and Thomas, Patrick and Megan Nolan; her sister-in-law Janet Collmer; brother-in-laws, Frank Collmer and Phillip and Nancy Collmer; a special cousin William Vale; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Edith Toner. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30am Monday, July 11, 2011 at Church of the Annunciation, Clark Mills. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Clinton. Friends are invited to call Sunday from 4-7pm at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc, 35 College St., Clinton.
