Obituary of Patricia W Hyde

Patricia W. Hyde, 86, affectionately known as Tish, passed away on May 31, 2011 with her loving family by her side.
She was born September 20, 1924, the daughter of Dorethea & Dr. Charles Chesebro. She was a graduate of New Hartford Central School and the Rochester Business School. Tish was married to James A. Hyde on January 10, 1948. Tish and her family reside in Clinton, New York.
Patricia worked as a secretary for Cardinal Chemical Company which she and her husband owned. She has also been a secretary for the Sports Center and the Clinton Courier. For the past twenty-five years, she has been the office manager of the Skenandoa Golf Club in Clinton, NY. Tish was an active member of the Clinton Garden Club, several bridge clubs, Republican Club, 18-hole ladies Skenandoa golf league and was an honorary member of the Skenandoa Golf Club. Tish was a United States Figure Skating Gold Level Judge. She judged throughout the Northeast from local test & competitive sessions, as well as regional and statewide events. She was a proud member of the Skating Club of Utica/Whitestown and the Rochester Skating Club.
Surviving beside her husband, James of 63 years, are her son J. Christopher and daughter-in-law Barbara Hyde of Marquette, Michigan; her daughter Robin and son-in-law, John Dillon of Clinton, New York; grandchildren, Jessica Hyde of Madison, WI, Carrie Lusk of Marquette, MI, James Dillon of Arlington, VA, Jonathan Dillon of Clinton, NY; great-grandchildren, Eli, Mason and Sawyer.
To honor her request there will be no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in Unadilla Forks.
A celebration of Tish's life will be held for family and friends at the Skenandoa Golf Club on Saturday, June 25, 2011 from 1-3pm.
