Obituary of Isabelle M. Schaller

Isabelle M. Schaller, 76, of Moore Road, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Faxton-St. Luke's Hospital. She was born June 15, 1934 in Gilbertsville, NY to Stanley and Enola Henderson Milligan. She graduated from UFA and Faxton School of Nursing. In 1953 she married Leo Suszynski, who died in 1979. She was then married to Warren Schaller on April 5, 1980. Mr. Schaller died in 2006. Isabelle was a Registered Nurse and worked at Faxton Hospital, at Dr. Graham Davis' office and then retired from Oneida Correctional Facility in 2001. She lived in Westmoreland for over 40 years and spent winters in St. Cloud, FL for the past ten years. Isabelle was a member of the Westmoreland Methodist Church and Faxton Alumni Nurses Association. She enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time in her gardens. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ken & Teresa Suszynski of Barneveld; her daughter and son-in-law, Wendy & Stanley Linebeck of Utica; three grandchildren, Julie Gogola, Stanley Linebeck Jr and Collin Suszynski; a great-grandson; her sister Irene Peterson of Westmoreland; two brothers Keith Milligan of Rome and Grant Milligan of Utica; and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her sister, Jeanette Combs. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, May 20, 2011 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc, 35 College St., Clinton. Burial will be in Westmoreland Cemetery. Friends are invited to call Thursday from 3-6pm at the funeral home.
