Obituary of Christopher D. Barscz

Christopher D. Barscz Clinton, formerly Herkimer Christopher D. Barscz, 49, of Clinton and formerly of Herkimer passed away on Friday, April 15, 2011 at his residence. He was born the son of the late John and Lois Kenyon Barscz on January 29, 1962 in Herkimer. Chris graduated from Herkimer High School. He was the Quality Supervisor for Orion Bus Industries, Oriskany. Chris was a member of the American Society for Quality and was also a volunteer fireman. He had a passion for the Adirondacks, downhill skiing, motorcycling and playing the drums. Chris is survived by two siblings, Laurie Barscz, Erie, PA and John "Skip" Barscz, Little Falls, a nephew, Mike Barscz two special friends, Renee Shields, Sauquoit and Phil Duchene, Verona; and his faithful companion Tyler, the Cocker Spaniel. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 7:00PM at the Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 6:00PM until the time of the service.
