Obituary of Ralph L Mabie

Ralph L. "Larry" Mabie, 91, of Rochester, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at St. Anne's Home. He was born in Sharon, Massachusetts, on January 23, 1920, the son of Ralph and Edna Lockwood Mabie. During WWII, Larry served in the US Marine Corps in the South Pacific from 1942-1946. He graduated from Springfield College in 1948. Larry worked for Amour & Co as a salesman for many years before it became Katz Brothers. On August 19, 1950 he married Mary Randall. They shared a union of almost 60 years before she passed away May 26, 2010. He is survived by a sister, Harriet Markley of Staunton, VA; two brothers-in-law, Ernest Randall of Clinton, NY and David Randall of Buena Vista, CO; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary and a brother-in-law Phillip Randall. Graveside services will be held at 10am Friday, April 15, 2011 at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Clinton.
