Ernestine D. "Tina" Pavlot, 82, of Meeting House Road, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011 at St. Luke's Home with her loving family by her side.
Tina was born January 3, 1929 in Ilion, a daughter of Harold and Dora Waite and attended the East Frankfort Schools. On October 21, 1950, she was married to Peter Pavlot Jr. Tina worked at Fibers Co in Little Falls, Waterville Knitting Mill and Mt. Markham Schools as a kitchen aide and bus monitor. She attended St. Joseph our Laborer Church in West Winfield and was a member of West Winfield Fire Dept Auxiliary. She enjoyed camping with her family at Crystal Lake and had a great love for all of her pets. She also enjoyed going to the casino and was an avid Bingo player at the Cedarville Fire Hall, but she enjoyed the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, most of all.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Peter Pavlot Jr.; her two daughters Ruth Ann Barrett and Dorothy Pavlot both of West Winfield; her son and daughter-in-law, Peter H. and Amy Pavlot of West Winfield; seven grandchildren, Tammy Simmons, Cory Barrett, Justin Pavlot, Daniel Allen, Stephanie deSanno, Dale Decker Jr and Dee-Ann Decker; fourteen great-grandchildren; her three brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold and Theresa Waite of Ilion and her twin Ernest and Dee Waite of Colorado and Donald Waite of Florida and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Caroline Roy, Irene Briest and Marian Dzimitrowicz, sister-in-law, Sophy Scanlon and her son-in-law Howard Barrett.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc, 35 College St., Clinton. Friends are invited to call Wednesday from 4-7pm at the funeral home. A spring burial will be in Cedarville Cemetery. All are invited to a reception at the Cedarville Fire Hall following the funeral on Thursday.
