Obituary of Richard F. Cobb

Richard "Richie" F. Cobb, 61, of St. Mary's Avenue, lost his battle with cancer on Friday, September 18, 2009 at Faxton-St. Luke's Hospital.
He was born June 21, 1948 in Utica, a son of the late Arthur and Marie Voce Cobb. On October 4, 1997 he was united in marriage to Katie Furgal at St. Mary's Church in Clinton. Richie was the Director and Vice President at Tri-State Industrial Laundries in Utica. He especially enjoyed volunteering at the Northeast Classic Car Museum in Norwich.
He is survived by his wife, Katie of Clinton; his brother Jim Cobb of Utica and his brother-in-law, Mark Furgal of Wisconsin, with whom he had a very special relationship.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10am Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at St. Mary's Church, Marvin Street, Clinton. Friends are invited to call Monday from 5-8pm at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc, 35 College St., Clinton.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Richie's memory to the Northeast Classic Car Museum, 24 Rexford St., Norwich, NY 13815.
