Obituary of Marjorie Stagner

Marjorie Ann Stagner Vernon Marjorie Ann Thieme Stagner, 70, of Fairway Drive, died at home on Saturday, January 8, 2011. She was born in New Hartford on August 18, 1940, the daughter of the late Henry and Anna Soldato Thieme. In 1958, she married the late James C. Stagner whom passed away on December 10, 2008. Marjorie graduated from Vernon Verona Sherrill. She worked at the Commons in Hamilton College and Westmoreland Elementary. She is survived by her daughter and son-in law, Jamie "Weegie" and Robert Owen of Vernon; her son, Stacy "Shocker" Stagner of Vernon and her daughter-in-law, Cindy Schreckengost; her grandchildren, Brandon and Jesse; a brother, Carl Thieme of Vernon Center; a sister-in-law Linda Thieme of Westmoreland; relatives and friends. Marjorie was predeceased by her son, Brad "Boogie", in 1971 and a brother, Robert Thieme. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at the Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, January 11, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9pm, at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Evergreen Cemetery, Westmoreland.
