Obituary of Delos "Butch" E Seymour

Delos E. "Butch" Seymour, 53, of Eureka Rd, passed away on Monday, December 27, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. He was born February 26, 1957 in Utica to the late Delos and Thelma Waghorn Seymour Sr. Butch graduated from Clinton Central School and served in the US Marine Corps. On July 29, 1978 he was married to Deborah Morris at Vernon Center Presbyterian Church. Butch was a member of Clark Mills American Legion Post #26, National Rifle Association and was a past member of the Loyal Order of the Moose - Lodge #764, North Port, FL. Butch had a passion for cooking and enjoyed sharing it with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Seymour; his daughter Lynne Seymour and her husband Charles Leddick of Westmoreland; two grandchildren, Jazmine and Damian Seymour; two brothers, Burton Seymour and Debbie Sahl of Vernon and William and Shirley Seymour of Clinton; his nieces and nephews, JR, Susan, Lisa, Robbie, Ray, Kristina, Ryan, Kyle & Nikki; his Aunt Shirley Brown and her family; his mother-in-law, Evelyn Ford; brother-in-law, David Morris; and his best friend Kenny Eisnor. Funeral services will be held 7pm Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc, 35 College St, Clinton. Friends are invited to call Thursday from 4pm until the time of the service. Burial with military honors will be held at Westmoreland Cemetery in the Spring.
