Mary Helen Harrison, 84, took the hand of the lord and passed away peacefully on October 11, 2015. She was born on July 26, 1931 in Utica, NY, the daughter of the late Mary "Mae" and Louis Stockbridge Sr., of Clark Mills, NY. She is survived by three children, her son, LeRoy B. Harrison Jr. and his wife Mary Ellen, her special beloved daughter, Linda M. Harrison, and her son, Scott B. Harrison and his wife Patricia of Virginia; and numerous very special grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Helen was a loving wife, mother and grandmother whose life revolved around her family and her Irish heritage. Helen was educated at Westmoreland Central School. Many of the cherished memories for Helen and Roy was camping out at Moffit Beach, located at Speculator, NY, with the whole family. One of the high points of her life, Helen and her husband "Roy" (pre-deceased September 27, 2012) started a very successful ceramic business. For 20 years, "Blarneystone Ceramics" entertained some of the most wonderful people with many fun times and parties. Jack and Patricia McCabe and her senior friends were very special people in her life. The family would like to thank the Presbyterian Home and St. Luke's Emergency Room for their excellent care and prayers. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton, NY. Burial will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in Rome.
