Linda obtained her bachelor's in nursing and had a successful career as a registered nurse at Faxton Hospital. Linda was a gifted nurse whose compassion touched the lives of many patients in her care.

Linda was united in marriage to David B, Hazelden on December 27, 1962, together they shared two sons. They had a wonderful life together filled with traveling, good company, love, and many shared adventures. Linda was especially proud of her trip to Sweden where she was able to see her father’s birthplace and was given the opportunity to tour the home he grew up in.

She was an avid quilter and made many beautiful creations as a member of Mohawk Trail Artisans. She attended quilting seminars with Quilting by the Lake for over 30 years. Linda was also a gifted weaver and made many wool items. Her many talents led her to open a small business, these well-made items and gifts to others will carry on in her memory for many years.

Linda is survived by her husband David Hazelden; her sons Gregory B. Hazelden (Mark Dixon) and Mark D. Hazelden (Barbara Hazelden); special friends George and Elena Wuest, Stephen and Karen Cleary; a special niece Karen and Joe Angotti; and special family friend Alan Siedsma.
