Pat Ingalls

March 8, 1952 – August 9, 2026

Pat Ingalls, a compassionate, generous, and hardworking man, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on August 9, 2026. He leaves behind a legacy defined by kindness, meaningful connections, and an unwavering devotion to his family and faith.

“I have fought the fine fight, I have run the race to the finish, I have observed the faith.” — 2 Timothy 4:7

Born in Clinton, New York, on March 8, 1952, Pat grew up with a deep love for hockey and the great outdoors. He carried this appreciation for nature and physical activity throughout his life, alongside a lifelong passion for working with his hands.

Pat began his career in the appliance department at Kmart, where he discovered a natural talent for sales and an even greater gift for connecting with people. He deeply valued his customers and the relationships he built with them, dedicating his entire professional life to sales. At the time of his passing, he was employed by Share Corporation, proudly serving customers throughout the Adirondacks.

A remarkably skilled craftsman, Pat built his own home, constructed beautiful stone rock walls, and possessed a rare ability to repair small engines that others had given up on. He met every challenge with determination and persistence, consistently proving through his actions that few things in life were truly impossible.

Pat found immense peace and happiness in nature. He loved being by the ocean, hosting bonfires, and watching the sunset on his property. He also found great joy swimming and relaxing at his friend’s camp on Piseco Lake. Recently, Pat fulfilled a lifelong dream of touring Ireland and Scotland with his wife, celebrating 52 beautiful years of marriage together.

Known for his gift of listening and storytelling, Pat met life's challenges—even the most difficult ones—with humor, grace, and hope. His deep faith and love for the Bible guided his actions; he used his construction skills to assist in building Kingdom Halls throughout New York State and volunteered for disaster relief efforts in the South. He cherished the Bible’s hope for the future and happily shared his beliefs with everyone he met.

Pat is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Darlene Ingalls; his daughter, Kelly (Brendan) Muldoon; his son, Daniel (Emma) Ingalls; and his two grandsons, Charlie and Henry, whom he absolutely adored. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert Ingalls and Helen Blake Ingalls, and his brother, Bob Ingalls. He will also be deeply missed by his congregation and many dear friends.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported Pat during his battle with cancer. Your kindness, visits, and messages brought him immense comfort and joy. Pat will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the abundant love he gave, the lives he touched, and the good he brought into the world.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., with calling hours from 4:30 to 5:00 p.m., at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 585 Trenton Road, Utica, NY 13502
