I am so sorry for Ellie’s daughter and grandson's. Ellie was an amazing person I don’t think you could be sad when Ellie was around. We had so many laughs. I golfed with Ellie and worked with her at the Lutheran home. I must admit I was the one who doctored her beautician license at the home. We laughed till we cried. Ellie was the best. Friendly and funny. She did my wife, Mother's and Mother-in-law's hair. We were proud to call her a true friend. She and my wife would "hit" their carts together when we saw her in the supermarket. They would both try to be the first to surprise the other. She would always say "give me a hug" to me. We'll miss you Ellie. Our condolences to Kristen and the family. God bless, Bill and Nannette

I worked with this wonderful woman at Lutheran Home. She was the best! Residents loved her as well as staff. She always had a smile, a joke or a story to share. One day I followed her into the parking lot at work and noticed she had a small decorated Christmas tree attached to the side of her car. This was a long time before people started decorating their cars for Christmas. I was laughing and told her I loved her tree. She started “cackling”. When she could finally talk she told me it must have gotten hooked to her car when she was backing out of the garage and never noticed it. She was funny even without trying! ❤️
