Obituary of William D. Januchowski

William D. Januchowski, 81, of Clark Mills, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2026, at the Eastern Star Home. 

He was born in Utica on May 17, 1945, the son of the late John and Agnes (Sweeney) Januchowski.  He was married to Ruth Green on August 20, 1966. They shared 51 years of love and devotion until Ruth’s passing on May 25, 2017. Bill enjoyed camping and fishing trips with his family and bowled in a league for many years. 

Bill is survived by his son, Michael Januchowski of Clark Mills; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Tom Stockbridge of Clark Mills; his grandchildren, Brittany and Caleb Bause, Shelby and Justin Norton, Elizabeth, Michaela, and Gavin; his great-grandchildren, Rory and Cade Bause; brother John Januchowski; many nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Elesa Stoddard; his special niece Michele Dzwankis; and his friend Kevin Swift. 

He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth; his son David J. "Dino" Januchowski; sisters Ann Norris and Jeanette Januchowski; a brother Paul Januchowski; and his many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. 

Funeral services will be held at 6pm Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton, NY. All are invited to call Thursday from 4-6pm prior to the funeral. He will be buried at Kirkland Cemetery.
