Alice A. Wesseldine

Clinton, NY – Alice A. Wesseldine, 88, of Elm St., passed peacefully at home on May 5, 2026.  She was born in Utica and attended Clinton School.  Alice was one of seven children born to Chester and Sara Wesseldine and is survived by 12 nieces and nephews.

Alice had a notable career as a professional figure skater most famously performing with the legendary Ice Follies.  She joined the cast as a line skater in 1957 and later became production manager.

After more than two decades of skating, Alice returned home to Clinton.  She has spent the last forty years surrounded by many loving friends and family members. 

The funeral will be held at Noon on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service. All are invited to visitation from 10am - Noon Friday. Alice will be buried at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Clinton.
