Obituary of Nancy A. Gaglianese
Nancy A. Gaglianese, 88, of Oriskany, passed away on April 21, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Portage, PA on June 12, 1937, one of eleven children of Robert and Mary (Christina) Rowe. Nancy was united in marriage to Anthony D. Gaglianese on June 28, 1958, in Auburn, NY. They shared 47 years of love and devotion before his passing on August 29, 2005. Nancy devoted much of her life caretaking for children in her community. She became more than a caretaker to these children; she became a cherished childhood memory throughout their lives. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the center of her world. Nancy was generous and selfless. Whether it was a friend in need, a shoulder to cry on, someone to confide in, or supply her grandchildren with food and supplies during college, she made sure those she loved always had everything they needed.
She will be greatly missed by her sons and daughters-in-law, Darrell and Lynne Gaglianese of Canastota, Gary Gaglianese of Oriskany and Renee Gaglianese of Rome and Michael and Adelle Gaglianese of Oriskany; her beloved grandchildren and their spouses, David and Sarah Gaglianese, Tabitha and Steve White, Daniel and Jaime Gaglianese, Cara and Jeff Hull, Tessa and Kevin Robinson, Michael (Gina) Gaglianese and Cassandra Gaglianese; her cherished great-grandchildren, Winalynne, Dylan, Ensley, Briar, Landon, Nash, Willow, Rockie and one on the way; her brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Susie Rowe of PA; her sister Betty McTish of PA; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; her daughter Darla Gaglianese; and her brothers and sisters, Robert, Louise, Cleo, Clyde, Jim, John, Lorraine and Ron.
All are invited to call Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 1-4pm at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, 35 College St, Clinton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am Monday at Church of the Annunciation in Clark Mills. She will be laid to rest at Oriskany Cemetery.
