He was born in Westmoreland in August 1951, the son of Harvey and Frances (Green) Nash.  Norm graduated from Westmoreland Central School. He retired from CNY Psychiatric Center after many years.  On July 3, 1993, he was united in marriage to Robin Hewitt.  They shared 33 years of love and devotion. Norm loved anything Irish, including Guinness beer.  He was a loyal New England Patriots fan even in the difficult years. Norm loved bowling and enjoyed sharing his love for the sport as an instructor for the kids’ league. Norm was a wonderful father and husband who loved to spend time with family and friends. He especially enjoyed the monthly CNY retirement lunches.

He will be missed by his wife Robin; his children, Jeremy and Kelly Nash of Marcy, Jason and Cindy Nash of New Hartford, Chris and Cassie Hewitt of GA, and Shawn and Michelle Hewitt of FL; his cherished grandchildren, Jacob, Joseph, Jason Jr., Julia, Caden, Elijah and James; his sisters Sharman and Chuck Kleinhenn of PA and Janice Nash of Clinton; his brother-in-law Wayne Lee of TX; his brother-in-law Tom Sierak of Utica; his nieces and nephews whom he loved very much; many special friends including Judy and Scott Walker; and his beloved dog Coco.  He was predeceased by his parents; his sisters Barbara MacRitchie and Valerie Sierak; and his in-laws, Ernie and Faye Lee.

Private services will be held for the family at a later date. Arrangements by Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service.
