Obituary of James L. Miller

James L. Miller, 68, of Westmoreland, passed away unexpectedly at home on April 1, 2026. 

He was born October 4, 1957, the son of the late William R. and Jane (Clipston) Miller.  Jim grew up in Franklin Springs and graduated from Clinton Central School.  For many years, Jim worked for the Town of Kirkland and the Town of New Hartford at the arenas and town parks. He lived life on his own terms and often kept to himself, though he had a wide circle of friends.  He loved to go to car shows in the summer. 

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, William and Penny Miller; niece Michelle and her husband Terry Wright; nephew Kevin Miller; great nieces Teagan and Violet; Aunt Katherine Green; Uncle Earl Clipston (Sherri); many cousins and friends. 

Private services will be held for the family.  He will be buried at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Clinton.
