Obituary of Linda M. Harrison
Linda Marie Harrison, age 75, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025, at the Grand Nursing Home in Utica, surrounded by her loving family.
Linda was born on May 27th, 1950, in Utica, NY, daughter of her predeceased parents, LeRoy B. Harrison, Sr. and Mary Helen Stockbridge Harrison. Linda graduated in 1968 from Westmoreland Central School.
Some of her favorite things to do were to be around her favorite niece Angela Harrison Degroselier & her husband of Florida and one of three nephews (proud Marine) Scott Harrison Jr and family of South Carolina, her Godson Michael G. Harrison, and David O. Harrison. Her nephew David passed in 2018. David and his wife Tracy blessed her with two awesome great-nieces, Shannon and Katherine Harrison (both college graduates).
Linda, being 1 of 3 kids, had a tremendous number of friends and family including her brother Scott Harrison and wife Patricia of North Carolina; brother LeRoy B. Harrison, Jr. of Whitesboro, NY; and a special friend Phyllis O’Brien.
Linda worked all her life at various jobs, such as the Bell Telephone Company, Metropolitan Insurance Company, United Healthcare, and a few more.
Linda had a love of many things in her life, mainly being the family caregiver. Her compassion for her family was unmatched over 30 years. She also loved helping her parents at The Blarney Stone Ceramics for years and raising the family dog Fifi the French Poodle.
Relatives and friends are invited to the graveside service at 1:30pm Monday, November 17, 2025, at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Rome, NY. Arrangements by Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda’s name may be made to the Humane Society of Rome.
