Obituary of Gordon H. Timian

Gordon “Kelly” Timian, died September 4, 2025, after being in Wynn Hospital for six weeks. 

He was born on January 22, 1934, in Lairdsville, NY, in the second house built in the Town of Westmoreland on Deans Hwy.  He was the son of Gordon and Dulcinea Wattenbe Timian. His family moved to Clinton when he was seven years old, to their farm on Grant Hill Road. He worked on the family farm until it sold in 1955. He started driving tractor trailer for Central Asphalt in the summer and for Chemical Leman in the winter. In 1976, he bought his own tractor and leased to Daily Express of Carlyle, PA.  He drove coast-to-coast for the next sixteen years.  He continued driving but stayed closer to home. He retired at 75 years old. 

He leaves his wife, Mary; his step-daughter, Darlene Horner and Rick; his step granddaughters, Alecia Horner (who was his caregiver for over a year) and Patrick, Amber Fadden and Tyler; his step-great-grandchildren, Bentley, Mary Rose, Danielle, Katherine and Calliope; three daughters, Roberta and Reece Treen, Monica Benton, and Doreen and Todd Lewis; six grandchildren, Christina, Brandon, Dustin, Brenton, RJ and Ryan; his great-grandchildren; his sister Laura Peck; niece Bonnie Bentley and nephew Gary Peck.  He was predeceased by his step-daughter, Tina Marie Barker in 1989. 

In keeping with Kelly’s wishes, there are no calling hours. He was laid to rest in Crown Hill Memorial Park. Arrangements by Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Services, Clinton. 

The family thanks the nurses and staff of 8 West at Wynn Hospital for the care given to Gordon during his stay.
