Mr Thurston fixed my lawnmower for me every spring. There was always something wrong with it, but he kept it going.
We had some wonderful talks about friends, neighbors, and relatives. I never realized that we shared a birthday! He was exactly 10 years older than me.
A good friend and neighbor. He will be missed.
