Obituary of Michael J. Snyder

Please share a memory of Michael to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Michael J. Snyder, 58, of Clinton, NY passed away unexpectedly on July 6, 2025. Born in Manchester, CT on December 30, 1966, he was the son of Norman Snyder and Roberta Walker Snyder. Following graduation from Clinton high school Mike obtained his associate degree from Mohawk Valley Community College. Mike was a self-employed painter with an eye for detail and perfectionist flair. He was extremely gifted in his trade and he never lacked for work, his honest and kind demeanor spoke for itself.
Mike was a health enthusiast and enjoyed staying in shape by working out. Mike was kindhearted and had genuine care for others, he was a safe space, a listening ear, and would make time for anyone who needed him. He was a friend to anyone and everyone including animals. While Mike prided himself on being caring and non-judgmental, he also had a great sense of humor and could always make his friends and family laugh. His warm and caring presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Mike is survived by his sisters Karen (Ken) Dining and Lee Ann (Jeff) Binder; brother Rob Snyder; nieces Kayliegh Bisson and Krista (Ryan) Gerling; great nephews Parker and Brody Gerling. He was predeceased by his parents Norman and Roberta Snyder and his great nieces Emily and Kenni Bisson.
