Emily and Kenni Bisson

Obituary of Emily and Kenni Bisson

Please share a memory of Emily and Kenni to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Emily Elaine Bisson and Kenni Michel Bisson, 6, of Clark Mills, NY passed away tragically on June 22, 2025. Born on September 26, 2018, they were the daughters of Kayleigh Bisson  (Dining) and Brian Bisson. They were beloved students, classmates, and teammates at Clinton Elementary School. Emily and Kenni were known amongst the school for their bright personalities, big smiles, and contagious laughs, they were the epitome of being a Clinton Comet, two beautiful souls who shined brightly and left a lasting impression among their peers in their time at CCS.

Emily and Kenni were the girliest tomboys you would ever meet; their nails would be painted while simultaneously holding a “cute” little worm, snail, or some other critter. They were both avid animal lovers; kitties, bunnies, butterflies, or creepy crawlers they could make a pet of it. They had an incredible ability to find beauty in all things, whether it was rocks or mud they found a way to enjoy it and often ended the day muddy and smiling.

They both loved vibrant colors; rainbows, tie-dye, hot pink, or bright yellow they wore it well. They enjoyed incorporating colors into their works of art, both girls had a great deal of talent and could often be found drawing a beautiful picture or bringing beauty and wonder to a sidewalk with their chalk skills.

Emily and Kenni were active players on their 8U softball team in Clinton, they were tiny but fierce with impressive swings and catches; they loved their teammates and coaches and enjoyed perfecting their game by playing with their buddies. They were enthusiastic dancers at Danceworks where they showcased their talents not only in the studio but whenever their feet were ready to move. They loved getting dolled up for their recitals with mom. They were especially close to their ballet and tap instructor Miss Juliana and Miss Tricia. Along with their love of dance came their love of music, they both had their own taste and favorite jams but together they shared the most epic dance and song parties, they truly were the dynamic duo.  They were both “foodies” and really enjoyed snacking all day with their favorites being mini muffins, pizza Lunchables and all-time favorite chicken nugget happy meals.

While the girls were twins and looked alike and often thought alike, they were very much their own person. They marched to the beat of their own drum and had their own opinions on things and their own passions. Emily was a ball of energy and always found a way to make others laugh. She was affectionate with a nurturing soul and incredibly loving. Kenni was an empath; always kind and compassionate. She was extremely imaginative, creative and always wore a smile. Both shared a love for all things Disney and enjoyed vacationing together with their immediate family including their cousin Parker.  The girls and Parker had a special bond that was unmatched.  They were often referred to as “the triplets”; always together, always cheering one another on, and always there. They were 7 weeks apart and spent every milestone together. They played and they argued like siblings. They were the families Huey, Dewey, and Louie. They filled their family homes with laughter, love and the perfect amount of chaos. Emily, Kenni and Parker were more than cousins, they were best friends and soulmates.

Emily and Kenni were beautiful and unique in their own way, and they made the world a better place by being in it. They enjoyed having playdates with friends, going to the playground, watching movies, swimming and seeing their many friends at school. Most of all they loved their family, especially their momma bear Kayleigh who was their biggest cheerleader.

They are survived by their mom Kayleigh (Dining) Bisson; their dad Brian Bisson; grandparents (Nannie and Poppie) Ken and Karen Dining; great grandfather William Dining; Sue and Jeff Gerling (Meemaw and Peepaw), aunts and uncles Krista (Dining) Gerling and her husband Ryan Gerling (Kiki & RyRy), Joann (JoJo) Foster and her husband Mark Foster; cousins Parker and Brody Gerling; several special aunts, uncles, and cousins; their dog Sully and their cats Sheldon and Battie.

The loss of Emily and Kenni leaves rippling effects among their friends, family, and their entire community. Sadness is present everywhere but when you think of these two beautiful girls please try to find beauty in the things that they love. Pick up a piece of chalk and draw something, bring the cool rock you found home, dance to your favorite song, swing the bat for them: live like Emmi and Kenni.
