Obituary of Shelly C. Johnson
Shelly Charise Johnson, 50, of Clark Mills, passed away unexpectedly on June 22, 2025. Shelly was born in Jacksonville, FL, on October 3, 1974. Shelly was a valued employee at Boscov’s where she worked in the shoe department, often helping find the perfect fit for special occasions or events. She was a bright and cheery presence in her department and will be missed by her coworkers. Shelly shared her life with her fiancé Ed Hickey; they were true partners and loved each other deeply. Ed’s family loved Shelly like one of their own and her loss is immense to not only Shelly’s immediate family but the entire Hickey family as well.
Shelly loved time spent outdoors, especially taking her dog Jaxon for walks at the park or going for motorcycle rides. Shelly was very artistic she had an eye for detail and a gift for drawing. She had great taste in music and could be found listening to Alice Cooper, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and Joan Jett. She was a true animal lover and could make friends with any critter.
Shelly is survived by her mother Elaine Johnson; fiancé Ed Hickey; brother Kenneth Johnson (Lindsay); Aunt Eva Conn; her many cousins; a niece Jaclyn Connolley; the Hickey family; many special friends, and her dog Jaxon.
