Obituary of Jill E. Wickham

Jill Endries Wickham, 82, of Clinton, NY passed away peacefully on April 21, 2025.  Jill was born in Norwich, NY, the only daughter of Norton and Alice (Simons) Endries. While she resided in Wisconsin, Virginia, Sackets Harbor and Clinton NY, Norwich remained her cherished hometown where she returned eagerly for school and family gatherings. 

She earned her Associate's degree while raising three young children—a testament to her determination—and later built her career at Cawley's in Clinton and Niagara Mohawk. Jill maintained a wide circle of friends who treasured her wit and adventurous spirit.

Jill (Mommy, Ma, GMA, Grandma Jill) leaves behind her children Barbara (Tom) Owens, Will Wickham (Gulya Pogotova) and Brian (Daina) Wickham; her brothers David Endries and twin John "Jack" Endries (Anne); and grandchildren Nick (Allison) Owens, Ben (Julia) Owens, Blythe (Peter) Gryga, Sarah Owens (Tyler Benedict), Christopher Wickham and Justin Wickham. She also leaves cousin/sister Bonnie Shay, sister-in-law Lee Endries and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother Robert Endries and sisters-in-law Maria Endries and Linda Endries.

The family thanks the staffs of Brookdale Senior Living in Clinton, LutheranCare, Wynn Hospital, Tatiana's Band of Angels, Clinton Fire Department and COVAC for their exceptional care. They also thank friends and colleagues for support during this difficult time. Services will be private and entrusted to Owens-Pavlot and Rogers Funeral Service.
