
Obituary of Jane Arlene Miller
Jane Arlene Miller, 89, of Franklin Springs, passed away peacefully at home on March 27, 2025.
She was born in Utica, NY on April 27, 1935, a daughter of the late Earl and Katherine (Wesseldine) Clipston. Jane graduated from Clinton Central School. She was united in marriage to William Richard Miller on August 1, 1953 at St. James Episcopal Church in Clinton. They shared 67 years of love and devotion until his passing on June 24, 2020. Jane was a member of St. James Episcopal Church and a past member of the Helmuth-Ingalls Auxiliary Unit 232. Jane enjoyed classic country music, her afternoon walks and loved a good garage sale. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family most of all.
She is survived by her two sons and a daughter-in-law, William E. and Penny Miller of Franklin Springs and James L. Miller of Clark Mills; two grandchildren, Michelle and Terry Wright of Oriskany, and Kevin Miller of Maine; two great-granddaughters, Teagan and Violet; a sister, Katherine Green; brother, Earl Clipston (Sherri); and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Elizabeth Goodson and Cecilia Angier.
All are invited to call Friday, April 4, 2024, from 10am-Noon at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, 35 College St., Clinton. A Celebration of Jane’s life will follow at Noon. She will be buried in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
