Obituary of Jessie M. Skaggs

Jessie M. Skaggs, 89, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at the Eastern Star Nursing Home with her loving family by her side.

Jessie was born on October 23, 1935, in Wheeling, WV to the late Robert and Nancy (Good) Collins. She graduated High School and married the love of her life Clyde Skaggs and they began a life and family together.

Jessie enjoyed time with her family, she was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She valued friendships and made many close friends over the years. She also enjoyed golf, bridge, dominos, mahjong and many other games with friends and family. She loved camping and the outdoors, especially with the family.

Jessie will be missed by her children, Doug Skaggs, Nancy Zegarelli grand children, Ethan and Sara Skaggs, Jessica Zegarelli, Jonathan and Annie Zegarelli; great-grandchildren, Vivian, Fen, Archer, Caleb, Camryn, Gavin, Angelo, Giovonni, and Ava. She was predeceased by her husband Clyde, her daughter-in-law Delane and her brother Bobby Collins.

All are invited to calling hours on Saturday March 29^th from 3-4PM with a celebration of her life to follow at 4PM.
