Your father was my first big girl doctor and he was wonderful. He was so smart and compassionate. He was also my dad's doctor for years, and dad still talks about what a great doctor he was. Dad said Dr. Moore could and would take care of any issue; he did it all. Dad also told me that Dr. Moore came to our house one time when my brother was sick, and it only cost $6 for the house call. He was special and will be missed by many of his patients.

Condolences to all Roger's family. He was the reason I
came to the Utica area, settled in Clinton, and covered
each others medical practices for over 20 years. No doubt he is the Family Physician we are all missing in todays health care system. Thank you Roger.

Worked with Dr. Moore for many years at St. Elizabeth Hospital. A very brilliant and kind/caring Doctor to all. He was a doctor you could always call and know he would call you back with orders.
My husband bought me one of his paintings - "The Last Call" and it just said who he was; always available anytime.
He is the epitome of a great Physician!

To the family of Dr. Moore I send my deepest condolences.
He was a mentor for me.
I’d follow him on rounds and he’d literally run up and down the halls and tell me facts like 1/3 of colon cancers are picked up on rectal exams. 2 hours later he’d ask me how many colon cancers were picked up on rectal exams and if I didn’t know it he’d give me that look!
He was truly a renaissance man.
I would not have been a doctor without him. He invited me to share time in his office observing. He would do house calls.
Once when I was an EMT for COCVAC, a man had a cardiac arrest. Dr Moore jumped in the ambulance and told me to follow in his car. He said, “ I can do a lot more than you can”.
RIP! What a life and career.

Dr. Moore was a wonderful example of the good old “country doctor.”He was available day or night. Once to sew up a wound on my leg after midnight. During the Fall season he dedicated his Saturday afternoons to the Clinton HS football team, as physician for both teams. His passion for football was evident as he followed every strategy and play call. I was honored to work beside him in the 80’s as he was the school physician and I was School Nurse at Clinton Elementary School. Clinton has lost an irreplaceable icon. God Bless.

I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Dr. Moore, but I have been honored to know his daughter, Helen. Reading the story of this tireless Renaissance man explains so many of the wonderful qualities Helen exemplifies daily. His legacy will be everlasting. I wish your family peace and comfort as he enjoys God's loving embrace.

I am very saddened by the passing of Dr.Moore. He was my doctor and friend. I attended school with his children, and sang with his lovely wife. I send my deepest sympathies to his entire family. Dr. Moore was truly a "Renaissance" man!

What a remarkable physician and human being overall. The good Lord clearly blessed him with many beautiful talents and skills, which he then shared with so many in countless different ways. May he now rest in eternal peace. My deepest sympathy to his family.
