Obituary of Betty R. Lauri

Betty R. Lauri, 89, of Clark Mills, passed away at home on February 5, 2025.

 

She was born in Rome, NY, on March 15, 1935, the daughter of the late LeRoy and Florence (Pick) Nelson.  On August 28, 1954, she was united in marriage to Paul H. Lauri.  They shared 61 years of love and devotion until his passing on December 7, 2015.  Betty worked at Chicago Pneumatic for a few years. She was a devoted wife and mother, who always put her family first.

 

She will be missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Donna Lee and Gregory Daniels of Cudjoe Key, FL; sister-in-law, Rose Lauri; many nieces and nephews; her longtime friend, Joanne Berie; her “Daughter for Hire”, Amanda Reinhardt; and the crew at Active Day at the Presbyterian Home.  She was predeceased by her husband, her parents, her brothers, Carlton and Robert Nelson, and in-laws, John and Betty Lauri, Robert Lauri, David Lauri, and Frank Lauri.

 

All are invited to call from 10-11am Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, 35 College St., Clinton, NY.  Funeral services will follow at 11am Tuesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the spring at Evergreen Cemetery in Westmoreland.

 

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Betty’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
