Obituary of Janet I Parry-Evans

Janet I. Parry-Evans, 55, of Bristol, Rd., Clinton, NY, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on Monday, August 3, 2009. Janet was born in Hartford, CT on September 4, 1953 and was the daughter of the late John and Enid Evans. She graduated from Bristol Central High School Class of 1971 and attended Vassar College and Hartford State Technical School. She resided in Bristol, CT and Middletown, CT for many years and was employed as a metallurgist by United Technologies. Janet enjoyed reading and bicycling. She loved her pets and enjoyed going for walks with her fiance, Peter, and her dog. Janet is survived by her brother and sister in law, Jon H.P. Evans and his wife Audrey of Bristol, CT; two nieces Amanda B. Evans and Erin M. Evans; two nephews, Mike and Steve Pittruzello; and her fiance, Peter Kasprzak of Clinton. Relatives and Friends may call at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, CT on Wednesday (August 12) between 7 and 9 PM. A memorial service will be held on Thursday (August 13, 2009) in the Lena Barnes Chapel at First Congregational Church, 31 Maple St., Bristol, CT. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
