Douglas K. Crane, 24, of James St., died on Sunday, September 20, 2009 along with his feline companion "Philleo" as a result of a fire at his residence.
Douglas was born May 7, 1985 in New Hartford. He is the son of Patrick and Michele Green Crane. He grew up in Clark Mills and attended Clinton Central School and MVCC. Douglas had a passion for art and music. He also enjoyed the outdoors - fishing and snowboarding. He savored the time he spent with his "road family" and friends. "We will always love you and sadly miss you - your memory will live on in our hearts."
He is survived by his parents, Michele and Patrick Crane of Clark Mills; his brother, Patrick, also of Clark Mills; maternal grandmother, Joan Green of Whitesboro; several special aunts, uncles and cousins; and his very special friends - you know who you are. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Kenneth "Pete" Green and Donald and Mary Crane.
Graveside services will be held at 10am Thursday, September 24, 2009 at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Clinton. Relatives and friends may call today, Wednesday from 4-7pm at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton.
