Helen Mizgala 1932 – 2021 God sent me to live in Verona with Frank and Mary Pawlikowski on November 29, 1932. I lived there quite a while, started school there – it was like Little House on the Prairie. Had a bunch of brothers and sisters to play with. We moved to Lee Center, still a little house, went to school there and in Rome. Got a job and met Michael at a clambake. We were married June 18, 1955. Had me seven beautiful kids. I am survived by my husband, Michael; six children, Mona Mizgala, David Mizgala, Michael and Debbie Mizgala, Kelly Shanley and Ken Holmes, Jeff Mizgala and Christina Mastroccio Hall, and Michelle Mizgala and Mike Harrison; eight grandchildren, Patrick, Kayla, Brendan, Eric, Mikkel Paul, Scott, Kyle and Abby; three great-grandchildren, Fiona, Haley and Hannah; sisters Anna Moster, Agnes Beasock and Fran O’Brien; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. I was predeceased by my infant daughter Robin; brothers and sisters, Joe, Hank, Walt and Jimmy, Evelyn Mary and Cathy. All are invited to calling hours from 4-7pm Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, 35 College St., Clinton. Please wear a mask and use the parking lot entrance. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:30am Friday, October 1, 2021 at Church of the Annunciation in Clark Mills. Do not be sad and cry, but sing loud so I can hear you. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Rome. Thank you, Jesus, for my life and thanks to everyone else I loved - God bless. Thank you to Pam Fleming, St. Elizabeth’s ICU, Hospice & Palliative Care, COCVAC and Kunkel Ambulance for the wonderful care given to Helen. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to COCVAC.
