Betty was employed for many years at the Victory Food Market in West Winfield and was active in the Order of the Eastern Star (OES). She recently celebrated her 80th anniversary as a member of the OES. Betty has 79 direct descendants. Surviving are her sons; Bruce (Bernice) of Poland; Curtis (Marcia) of New Hartford; Dennis (Karen) of Pittsburgh; her daughter Kim (Terry) Craig of Cassville; her daughter in law Deanna of Westmoreland and son in law, Luke Gremillion of Rowlett, TX. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 29 great-great grandchildren, and 1 great great-great grandchild. During her 100 years of life, Betty experienced many highs and lows. As she aged, Betty sincerely wanted to reach her 100 year milestone, outliving all of her ancestors, and to have a final chance to visit directly with her family. Happily, Betty’s wishes were realized and she did enjoy a great celebration on her 100th birthday, at the home of her daughter, with many of the family present. Betty’s family would like to extend their gratitude to the Masonic Care Community for their care and compassion over the past several months during her nursing home stay which allowed her to enjoy her final months in comfort and peace. In keeping with Betty’s wishes, there will be no public visitation. A private burial ceremony will take place in the Unadilla Forks Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service in Clinton, NY. Please consider donations in memory of Betty to Masonic Care Community or to the Federated Church in West Winfield.
