Tom Bell, 68, of Gridley Paige Rd, Deansboro, passed away unexpectedly at home on June 26, 2021. He was born in Utica on November 4, 1952, son of the late Thomas A. and Louise (Cattadoris) Bell. Upon his graduation from high school, Tom opened Tom’s Natural Foods in Clinton. He operated the store for 48 years until his recent retirement. He was married to Bonnie Wood on September 4, 2015. They shared 40 years together. Tom had a passion for music and was well-known for his talents as a sound man and as a member of Puttin’ on the Ritz. He collected guitars and loved music and gardening. Tom had a great respect and love for this planet. He is survived by his wife Bonnie Wood; step-daughter, Cypress Garrett of St. Louis, MO; sister and brother-in-law, Rose and Bob Janus of Tallahassee, FL; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Rick and Pam Wood of Blue Ridge, GA; nephews, Robbie Janus and Marc Janus; great nephew, Portland Janus; many cousins and good friends. He was predeceased by his parents and a nephew Greg Janus. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
