Louisa, Elaina, Amanda, Chivon. And Amelia, We are so saddened to hear of Chris’ passing. We have so many fond memories of time spent with your family. His strong political views, his incredible hospitality and culinary skills, his musical prowess, his protectiveness of all he cared for(family and others he took in as family or Louisa did so he had no choice). Andy and I shared so many memories with Chris and Luisa — the kind that only come from doing life side by side for a long time. Chris had a way of making everyone feel welcome and at ease. He was fiercely loyal to the people he loved, the kind of man you always knew you could count on no matter what. And yes, he could be wonderfully stubborn — holding his ground with a quiet determination that, somehow, only made us love him more. That stubbornness was part of his strength, part of what made him who he was. What I will always remember most is how deeply he loved Luisa and his daughters and how proud he was of the life they built together. That love showed in the way he showed up every day, in big ways and small ones. We will miss his warmth, his presence, and the simple comfort of being around him. Our hearts ache for Luisa & the girls, but we are forever grateful that Chris was part of our story. He will always hold a place in our memories and in our hearts.

So sorry to Chris's family. Very sad to hear he passed. He was a unique and caring person. He made me laugh alot in high school and I have many wonderful memories of him playing his music. I recently had a very hard time in life and he reached out to me to make sure I was ok a few times. Very few people take the time to do that. We've lost another true friend. Sending prayers and condolences.
