Obituary of Donald T. Stockbridge

Donald T. Stockbridge, 84, passed away June 20, 2017 with his family by his side. He was born November 23, 1932 in Westmoreland, a son of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Cotter) Stockbridge. He was married to Jeanne Meyers on September 7, 1951 until her death on March 29, 2008. Don was a mason and worked hard his whole life. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren most of all. He is survived by his five children, Debra and Dan Cotty Okeechobee, FL, Diana Lenahan of Whitesboro and Mike Lenahan of Cape Coral, FL, Scott Stockbridge of Rome, Guy Stockbridge of Vernon and Kyle Stockbridge and fiancé Valorie of Utica; thirteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; his sisters Eileen Spaven of Westmoreland and Betty J. McCarthy of Clinton; many nieces and nephews and his special friend Donna Stockbridge. He was predeceased by his wife Jeanne; daughters Donna and Denise; and eleven brothers and sisters. In keeping with his wishes, services will be private. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
