Shirley B. Dyer, 84, born on July 1st, 1932, passed away unexpectedly on March 26, 2017. She was the daughter of Durward S. Buell and Jennie M. Buell. Shirley worked at Community Memorial Hospital of Hamilton for many years. She is survived by her four sons and two daughters, Lester "Bear" Neff of Vernon, Dennis (Bethany) Neff of Oriskany Falls, and Brian Neff of Oriskany Falls, Crystal (John) Caraher of Oriskany Falls, Cynthia (Richard) Eakins of Martinsville, NJ, and Michael (Lucy) Dyer of North Port, FL; a brother Clyde (Joyce) Buell of Oriskany Falls; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a great-great granddaughter; along with several aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and many life-long friends. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family and friends. Shirley was predeceased by her parents, her husband Hank Dyer and her sister Patricia Neff. All are invited to call from 3-6pm on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc, 35 College St., Clinton. Funeral services will follow at 6pm Friday evening at the funeral home. Her burial will be in Deansboro Cemetery. Please consider donations in Shirley's memory to Oriskany Falls Fire Dept or Madison Ambulance Corp.
