Obituary of Jared Joseph Rogers

Please share a memory of Jared to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Jared Joseph Rogers, 18, was taken too soon on Friday, August 26, 2016. He was born on May 31, 1998 to Tricia Meyer and Jeffrey Rogers. Jared graduated with the Baldwinsville Class of 2016 and was attending OCC. Jared was an assistant manager at Fastrac and worked at Merlin's Ice Cream & Bounce House. He enjoyed being a camper at Camp Talooli and became a camp counselor. He achieved many things as a young man including his 2nd degree black belt. He lived life to the fullest and without fear. He was a free-spirit who cared deeply. He loved spending time at his camp at Lake of the Woods, fishing, waterskiing, wakeboarding and cliff jumping. Jared's caring ways and infectious smile made him a fast friend – he was loved by all who knew him. The room would light up when he entered. He was the most humble and kind young man you could ever know. He will be desperately missed by his parents, Tricia Meyer and Billy Morgan and Jeffrey and Tiffany Rogers; he was an amazing brother to Jonah, Josiah and Kayla; wonderful grandson to Richard and Linda Rogers, Deborah Hicks and the late Lynn D. Meyer. He is also survived by his great-aunt Kathy Czajak, many wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and all of the friends who are also considered family; his special girlfriend Ashleigh and his "Crew" of closest friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Thursday, September 1, 2016 at St. Augustine's Church in Baldwinsville. All are invited to call Wednesday from 2-6pm at St. Augustine's Church. Private burial will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to FEATofCNY.org
